Today is the last trading day before the Lok Sabha election results tomorrow (Tue, 04 June) with the result of the election undoubtedly affecting how the markets will move for the rest of the week.   • The Sensex and Nifty indices experienced slight increases on Friday, bouncing back after a series of losses over the past five days. The Sensex closed at 73,961.31, up 75.71 points from the previous day, while the Nifty 50 ended at 22,530, marking a 0.2% rise.

  • All attention was now focused on the final phase of the 2024 General Election scheduled for Saturday, June 1, followed by the release of exit poll results tomorrow (June 4).

Praj Industries Ltd (NSE: PRAJIND) +3.59%

  • Ipca Labs saw a 7.5 percent decline in its stock price after brokerages reduced their target price for the healthcare company due to its mostly disappointing performance in the March quarter.
