Zerodha Launches New Fund to support open-source projects.

Hello,
Markets declined for the second consecutive day, influenced by weak global cues and disappointing Q2 earnings. Retailers have noted that high food prices in India are restricting consumer spending in the early festive season. Hyundai India's IPO recorded a 42% subscription on Day 2, with the retail portion at 38%. Additionally, Zerodha has introduced a new fund aimed at supporting open-source projects.

As of 16/10/24

  • Indian stock market benchmarks, the Sensex and Nifty 50, declined for the second straight session on Wednesday, October 16, due to weak global cues.

  • Additionally, disappointing Q2 earnings and concerns about persistent inflation continued to dampen sentiment. Most sectoral indices closed with losses, with Nifty Auto and IT dropping 1.27 per cent and 1.17 per cent, respectively.
